About MACS

The participants in the MACS IV symposium

A symposium for specialists

One of the key features of these symposia is to gather a relatively small number of specialists and devote a few days to an open discussion of the latest scientific developments within sulphide catalysis.

During the last symposium, it has become clear that we have entered an era where we thanks to many new developments within theory and experimentation can deal with more complex and relevant problems at the molecular level.

Previous symposia

The MACS symposia in the field of sulphide catalysis are a well-established tradition with four successful symposia

  • St. Petersburg, Russia in 1998
  • Porquerolles, Francein  2001
  • Ascona, Switzerland in 2004
