The venue of the symposium

The venue of the MACS-V symposium is Bymose Hegn, a small conference centre situated in the beautiful scenery of Northern Sealand, 45 minutes from Copenhagen.

There are many sites in the vicinity: Towns like Hillerød and Helsingør/Elsinore, the fourth largest wood in Denmark called Gribskov and Denmark’s largest lake called Arresø. The area is a popular destination for excursions or outings and offers wonderful hiking tracks.

During the symposium, there will be a half-day guided excursion to Copenhagen available for accompanying persons. Please register for this excursion upon registration.
